Smacking the ground
With practiced skill.
Teens struggle to decide
Direction of a sphere.
Who is strongest?
Who can coordinate together?
For the moment,
Only the sphere matters.
All else fades
Except a ball's location.
Sports will always exist.
A way to rest the mind from a world on fire.
