Yes, sometimes I think there is no "use" thinking too hard about my siblings, but, as someone who is raising 3 kids of my own, I reflect on it partly because I wonder if they are ways for me to ..."help them be close" (my 3 kids)?
Or is it something they have to pick themselves, regardless of what I do?
